It would be a boring world to live in without Zingers! These pointy, sometimes needle sharp corners which can be found on both the upper and lower lip, are a hallmark of those who shoot from the hip verbally. When something needs to be said, this is the mouth that’s going to say it! The more extreme the pointy-ness, the more impelled the owner of the lips may be to offer unsolicited suggestions or to find fault. Difficulty with tact is often, though not always, a characteristic of those sporting these saber-like protrusions. If you grew up with a pointed tongue, you have probably learned by now to be more careful. Your verbal barbs may often be softened by a playful wit. Zingers are in fact one place that your sense of humor will show up in your lip print, but it is a sense of humor with an agenda!
If the Zingers are less pointed and more rounded, your comments will be less aggressive and offered with less attachment to the outcome of your suggestions.
Zingers are neither bad nor good. They simply represent a style of expressing oneself. I have seen them on gifted teachers who are known for speaking the truth in ways that jolt others into consciousness. But if your Zingers are sharp, take care. Sarcasm likes to sneak into those sharp corners like a coiled snake ready to strike!
